My Story

More than 300,000 ethnic minority residents (predominately South Asians) call Hong Kong home, making up more than 4% of the population. Sadly, 25.7% of South Asians in Hong Kong live under the poverty line and 33% of ethnic minority children live in poverty in Hong Kong.  The Zubin Foundation's mission is to improve the lives of Hong Kong's ethnic minorities by reducing suffering and providing opportunities.  In the last 12 months alone the Foundation has directly supported more than 12,000 individuals from ethnic minority low-income families in Hong Kong.

As an ethnic minority woman who is lucky enough to call Hong Kong home I am proud to support The Zubin Foundation.  Your generous donations will help the Foundation continue its important work including:

1. provide counselling to children who are self-harming due to anxiety, depression and bullying
2. education for terminally ill children (typically each child will spend 1-4 days in hospital each week)
3. weekly meet ups for over 100 isolated elderly ethnic minority individuals
