Birthday is a celebration of life - in order to make my birthday more memorable and meaningful this year (May 11th). I would like to invite you to support me to participate in Save the Children Hong Kong's first ever Charity Challenge, "Trek to Save the Children". How? By donating lieu of meals/ lieu of birthday gifts, you turn them into transforming gifts to children in need around the world. My target is HK$25,000 which can support six ethnic minority children aged 3–5 and six parents/caregivers in selected districts in Vietnam, and many other children in need around the world. Donations over HK100 is tax deductible. Thanks again for your generosity!

My Story

What will your IMPACT be?Throughout Vietnam, there are increasing disparities across regions and population groups, particularly among children from rural and ethnic minority communities. Poor educational infrastructure, a lack of teaching aids and equipment, and poor teaching quality are among the reasons for the reduced learning outcome and low enrolment rate among ethnic minority children. As part of the Trek to Save the Children, the funds you raise will be used to suppor t six ethnic minority children aged 3–5 and six parents/caregivers in selected districts in Vietnam, and many other children in need around the world. Your support will ensure these children receive the educational and parenting suppor t they need to not only survive, but to thrive. You will improve these young children’s school readiness skills through an innovative Emergent Literacy and Maths Skills (ELM) approach.
