My Story

2020 is not an easy year for everyone. However, this is also a year that has spawned lots of love and kindness. 

In this last week of 2020, I am sincerely inviting everyone to donate to MAKNA (National Cancer Council Malaysia), a not-for-profit social enterprise that has been consistently doing a great job supporting cancer patients in Malaysia and other parts of the world. 
 
I have chosen MAKNA because they not only provide financial assistance/services to patients, but also involve in research to find a cure for cancer. I have seen how MAKNA make a difference in patients' life during my clinical years in the government hospital. Fighting cancer is not an easy battle, and here is one extraordinary way you can help them get through their hard times. 

It all started with a little wish from me to celebrate New Year's Eve with my beloved family and friends while maintaining social distancing. Join me if you'd like to make a wish for a better 2021 and welcome the new year with a meaningful contribution!

今年的最后一个星期，我希望以这个独特的方式为MAKNA筹款，帮助正在抗癌路上坚持着、努力着的英雄们。选择为MAKNA筹款，不单是钦佩于他们一直以来无私地为患癌病者提供经济和物质资源，也希望能为癌症研究贡献一份薄力。抗癌之路崎岖难行（比发起筹款难100000倍吧！），对于经济困难的病患更是雪上加霜。但愿我们的一个善举，能让他们的抗癌路更加平坦。
