My Story

I am celebrating my birthday very soon and this year I promise to make it more meaningful. Growing up, I came to understand how people are so much connected with nature and the species that live in it. That is why for this year, I’m taking up the challenge to celebrate my big day for tigers through WWF’s I For Tigers Campaign. It is a sad reality that from 100,000 a century ago, wild tigers are now down to just 3,200. Tigers like all other animals have no voice. As humans, we have the power to give them a voice and I’m doing so here at my fundraising page for WWF. My challenge will be to celebrate a tiger-themed birthday party with less fortunate kids in my hometown in the Philippines and be able to educate them about tigers and other species and how these animals are very much connected to our lives. When young kids start caring for the environment and have respect for creatures that live in it --- tigers, other animals, trees and people, we can all make a positive change in this world. Please help me spread the word by donating to WWF through my fundraising page.
