Edlyl Asis is fundraising for UNICEF Philippines

As a Filipina, I want to raise money towards a charity that means a lot to me for the London Marathon.

My Story

I’m one of the lucky ones to have gotten a place in the London marathon ballot 2023…

I’m also one of the lucky ones to have been able to move to the UK at the age of 10 with my family. Every day I always feel so grateful to have moved here for a better life. Whilst, every day, many children in the Philippines live in difficult situations. With poor access to education, health and nutrition, decent shelter, protection from oppressors, and other basic rights. This is why it's so important for me to use my place at the London Marathon to raise money for Unicef Philippines. 

UNICEF Philippines works to promote and protect the rights of every Filipino child, with a particular focus on those who are most vulnerable and disadvantaged. They help deliver services and systems that give every child a fair chance in life, from providing health and education programmes to responding to natural disasters and emergencies.

Every donation helps and would be greatly appreciated!
