Help me help Filipino children overcome the pandemic's effects and prevent COVID-19 from becoming a lasting crisis for children.

My Story

This year I will be 31 and in my whole life I haven’t experienced the kind of anxiety I felt in the recent months. I have experienced emotions I was not familiar with. People close to me would say that what I am feeling is normal, but for me it was actually almost unbearable, I felt pain. Just recently, I finally had time to reflect and pick myself up again. Finally got the mind space to put into perspective all the emotions I have been feeling. I have woken to a reality where Covid-19 is a disaster that kept on giving…that said I have this urge to do something. I could not just sit and continue working like nothing is happening. So here I am, taking my first brave step in doing something in the midst of these difficult times.

Being in one home office with my sister, who works for UNICEF, I sometimes hear first-hand accounts of the impact this pandemic has brought to the poorest and most unfortunate Filipino children. It really pains me to hear all these horrid stories and in each story all I see are images of abused, hungry and sick children with no way to fend for themselves. On top of these sociological issues these children are facing, there is the threat of an irreversible psychological impact this Covid-19 crisis is doing to our children. Please help me help them. Let’s reach the most vulnerable and disadvantaged Filipino children by pooling our resources and network together. I urge each of you my family and friends to not let more harm happen to these vulnerable Filipino children.


For my Birthday, may I request for a simple gift - a gift of Hope for the indigent Filipino Children. Any amount is welcome to help advance UNICEF’s initiatives is a big help.

We are in the middle of a very difficult situation but am a firm believer that together we can help lift each other. For every peso we donate, we share something bigger - we share our confidence, we share our courage and we give a Filipino Child a gentle push towards a better future. Allow me to be your bridge in helping these kids get a fighting chance this pandemic.
