My Story

I will be running 42.6km full marathon on 9th Feb 2025 to support Zubin Foundation. I urge my friends and colleagues to support me by contributing to this organization. Employer matching doubles the impact of your contributions.

The Zubin Foundation works at the grass root level to reduce suffering and providing opportunities to Hong Kong's ethnic minorities. The target audience comprises of low-income ethnic minorities in Hong Kong, mostly comprising Indians, Pakistanis, Nepalis and Filipinos.

Barclays and myself has been working with Zubin for few years now. Each event is a direct 1-on-1 interaction with the youths who have asked the foundation for guidance e.g. helping with resume writing, interview skills, career guidance for dependent women, emphasizing the importance of networking etc. Each engagement is very interactive, customized to the needs of the receiver, addresses an immediate dilemma the youth may be facing, and you can see if its helping or not immediately. This marathon is an attempt to express my solidarity for this grassroot organization.

It’s also an attempt to demonstrate to my young daughters no challenge is too big, just needs preparation and discipline. They will have many coming their way.

Any small donation is well appreciated and would enable youths stand on their feet and support themselves and their families.
