My Story

Hi, thank you for taking the time to visit my page. After 25 years of idleness, I have finally decided to use my long legs for a good cause. I will be taking part in the Angkor Wat Half Marathon on the the 7th December and aiming to raise money for a fantastic local cause - Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC). In a country grappling with threadbare and/ore non-existent infrastructure, the hospital provides vital health care treatment for 150,000 children each year. It also works as a training center for doctors, nurses and health workers, allowing it to make an even wider impact on the Cambodian healthcare system. AHC operates as a non-profit foundation, reliant on the efforts of fundraisers and the generosity of donors. I therefore hope that this year I can do more than simply donate, but succeed in persuading you to as well. While (I hope!) you were given all the care you needed as a child, too often children in Cambodia are not. A small donation for my run will go a long way to preventing this.
