My Story
The KPMG Foundation, is proud to be supporting the ASPAC Team fundraising efforts for the KPMG India COVID appeal.The pandemic situation in India is becoming increasingly tragic. They are currently facing a surge of COVID cases that is overwhelming the healthcare system. Many of us have family, friends and colleagues we work closely with in our KPMG India and KGS teams who are being impacted by this crisis. Our offices are currently closed and the local teams have taken steps to support the needs of employees and their families, to enhance medical insurance, provide counseling support and help with medical consultation access. Even with this, it clearly remains a difficult time. KPMG remains focused on the health and wellbeing of our people and many KPMG Firms are thinking about what they can do to provide assistance.
The ASPAC Team are fundraising through a fitness challenge: 10 DAYS | 100 KM | $10,000 USDFrom 10 May to 19 May 2021, team members will challenge themselves and each other over 10 days to complete 100km* (walk/run/swim or double distance if cycle) to raise $10,000 USD.
If we reach our goal of raising $10,000 USD then ASPAC will match the $10,000 so our total doubles to $20,000 USD.
Please help us reach our overall ambitious fundraising target of $10,000 USD (converted on the platform to HKD 80,000) by clicking on the “Donate Now” button. Remember, no donation is too small … every little bit helps.
About our chosen charity:
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (‘IFRC’), are working with India Red Cross to make sure immediate support is provided for the country’s critical needs, including provision of oxygen, hygiene equipment, ambulances and other medical supplies. Together with the IFRC, KPMG International will keep a running total of donations across our network of member firms.About the FoundationThe KPMG Foundation is a charitable entity that aims to address social and environmental issues in our community.
