UPDATE: I FINISHED THE LONDON MARATHON!!! It was the toughest race I've ever had, and I almost gave up! But knowing that I was running for the Filipino youth and remembering all your messages of support inspired me to push through! THANK YOU to everyone who encouraged me through all my training and during the run, including the Filipino community in London who cheered for me on the sidelines! My Simplygiving page will be up until April 30, so you can still donate to UNICEF until then! Hi! I'm Anne Curtis, UNICEF Philippines Celebrity Advocate for Children.
This April 22, I am running the London marathon -- my second marathon! As I embark on another ANNEventure, what would make it even more meaningful is knowing that I am running for a cause. This is why I am dedicating the 42 kilometers to the children of the Philippines and hoping to raise PHP 84,000 for UNICEF Philippines my second time around.
