My Story

Have you ever thought what can you do for tigers? Really! Yes! For tigers! But why? The global tiger population has whittled down from 100,000 a century ago to just 3,200 now. This is happening due to: • Poaching, which includes the illegal trade of tiger parts and products • Retributive killing due to human-tiger conflicts. • Habitat loss and fragmentation, including from illegal logging and commercial plantations. If you can relate further, the haze is the result of such. If we don’t act now, we will lose all of them by 2022. WWF Tigers Initiative is working to secure political will, action and funding to double wild tiger numbers by 2022. Please support me through my challenge of going vegetarian (for 2 weeks… for a start) by donating to my fundraising page. The funds will be directed to the initiatives and my page allows you to follow on my fundraising progress and you can even share with your friends. Please dig deep and donate, every little counts!
