My Story

Compassion for every paw.
In Malaysia, countless animals suffer in silence—abandoned, neglected, and subjected to cruelty. From stray dogs left to fend for themselves on the streets to abused pets hiding behind closed doors, these innocent creatures often have no one to turn to. Despite the growing awareness of animal abuse, many continue to endure pain without a voice to speak for them.
A Silent Cry was created to provide a lifeline to those who can't ask for help. We came together as dedicated students from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia with a shared commitment; to rescue, heal, and protect animals from abuse. We strongly believe that compassion should extend beyond humans to include the animals who share our world. A future where every paw is offered the care they desperately need and their cries are answered with love, care, and action is one that we actively strive towards to.

Our mission is to is to create a kinder, safer world for every paw in need. Through this campaign, we aim to raise awareness about animal abuse, advocate for stronger protections, and offer direct assistance to animals in distress. All the contributions and funds raised will directly go to supporting the operations of Paws Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in order to help them achieve their objectives. In doing so, we hope to make a lasting impact on the lives of rescued animals, as well as, garner community support to give every animal a chance at a better life.
