NAYA is fundraising for Yayasan Chow Kit

My Story

It’s been an amazing journey for us. I feel incredibly blessed to have met Naya 11 months ago. The universe has a way of bringing together things that are meant to be. And I thank our lucky stars everyday! We are also so grateful for the enormous support and love we have received from friends and family. This is Our Village! But for Naya’s birthday, please don’t buy her any presents! Our cup runneth over! You have given us more than enough clothes, toys, books, cots, carseats, rocking-chair, playpen, bouncy things, blankets, etc etc etc. Thank you thank you thank you thank you.

If you do wish to contribute something to mark this day, it will mean a lot to us if you would consider making a small contribution to Yayasan Chow Kit (the charity that Tini founded) via this page. We would like to help YCK raise some funds to help pregnant single mothers and families that are having difficulties paying for the hospital and maternity costs, to ease their start of bringing a child to this world. YCK’s motto is “Every Child Matters” and we couldn’t agree more!

YCK has been supporting urban poor families who cannot afford medical fees. They have seen cases of babies who were abandoned by their biological mothers as they cannot afford to pay the medical delivery cost. There are some mothers who seek YCK for emergency aid during delivery where YCK has helped by setting up instant fundraising appeals to support.
