My Story
Wines of South Africa (WOSA) is a proud supporter of this year’s Moontrekker and an earnest champion for the environment. South African wines lead the world in environmental and social sustainability. We are committed to conserve the biodiversity of the Cape Winelands, practise sustainable farming and promote equality among all workers. It’s not just about making better wine, it’s about making wine better. On 5th September, WOSA had organised a South African Wine Dinner and Charity Auction for The Nature Conservancy where ten lots of South African wine and raffle prizes were generously donated by importers and wineries. Over $66,000 was raised in the evening. On race day, WOSA, supported by South African wine importers and Biltong Chief, will have serving a selection of wines, biltong and boerewors rolls (similar to hotdogs but better!) at the Moontrekker's finish line. Come enjoy a bit of South African hospitality and celebrate your Moontrekker experience!
