The Dream for a Dream Project, founded by Lily with the help of Maggie Wong, believes that every youth in Hong Kong has a right to a dream. While we achieve our dreams through personal challenges, we help less privileged youth step closer to theirs. In this coming April, we plan to cycle around Taiwan and fund raise for Mother's Choice, Hong Kong. Mother’s Choice was founded in 1987 to help Hong Kong’s single teenagers and their family members coping with crisis pregnancy. Today, Mother’s Choice is joining hands with the community to transform lives and give hope to young girls, babies, special needs children and families. Our target is to raise HK$40,000 for Mother’s Choice and in particular for the needs for their Child Care Home. Mother’s Choice Child Care Home provides loving and nurturing care for babies and children awaiting a permanent home. In their Baby Care group, they care for up to 32 babies at anytime ranging from newborn to 2 years old. In their Wee Care group, they care for up to 12 children from newborn to 6 years old with a wide range of special needs. Your contribution will help provide for their day-to-day needs (milk bottles, teats, baby food, eating utensils) and for their early intervention care (educational reference books for professionals, assessment and development tools).
